Hi there! First of all, you can call me Mel.
On the surface, I’m an average wife and mother, balancing life and work in blue jeans and sneakers. But I actually tend to favor the strange and unusual, mostly by way of fantasy and science fiction books and films. I also prefer dogs over cats and have an uncharacteristic animosity towards clowns. You can find my books on Amazon and Smashwords.

/ May 13, 2012Hey, I’d really love to download your book but it’s on Amazon. I realize this may sound silly but I refuse to purchase most things off Amazon, especially books, because of their poor business ethics and monopolization of the market. I was wondering, could I purchase the book as a pdf instead? I wanted to send this to your email, but couldn’t find it, so I thought here would be suitable.

/ May 21, 2013This is a wonderful introduction my friend, I have just forwarded you an invite to my Private Space, it is a mixed balance of writing but medieval and horror are my genre, there will be a few in between postings that are different and there is a little art added to my extra pages, not brilliant of course but just fun š I hope that you will accept my invitation and call in sometime soon š

/ June 5, 2013Great blogsite, I’ve spent ages trawling through it and clicking the links. I love the labrynthine nature of it (I ended up looking at dystopian images) and the fact I could wander through and end up somewhere else.
I’ll keep an eye out – I struggled to get the artwork just right for my book and I need more done for the next ones. I loved the art gallery (especially the girl on the turtle with the fish in a jar) and it had lots of images I could use.
Nice to meet you Mel.
