/ May 26, 2013I have a certain mentality when it comes to writing poetry – I write for myself. I had too many teachers in school that would rather pick my poems apart and make them (and me) feel inadequate. If I don’t take them so seriously, I have more fun writing them. On occasion, something more serious comes out of them, depending on what’s going on in my life. In that case, I use them to vent my feelings.
